Pycnogenol

$35.40

Pycnogenol® Medical is one of the most powerful natural free-radical scavengers yet discovered. As such, it reduces oxidative damage to vital tissues and helps maintain a healthy capillary system. Pycnogenol® supports elasticity and shores up collagen in joints, capillaries, blood vessels, and skin. Pycnogenol® itself has many compounds and is a potent specialized antioxidant involved in inflammatory processes.  This product helps your body make and keep its own Hyaluronic Acid.  Pycnogenol® Medical’s antioxidant activity is many times more effective than that of vitamin C and vitamin E but, they can also be taken together for added benefit.  Pycnogenol® Medical is composed of water-soluble molecules. The flavonoid molecules have up to twelve condensed subunits

FUNCTIONS

Pycnogenol® Medical is one of the most powerful natural free-radical scavengers yet discovered. As such, it reduces oxidative damage to vital tissues and helps maintain a healthy capillary system. Pycnogenol® Medical’s antioxidant activity is many times more effective than that of vitamin C and vitamin E. Pycnogenol® Medical enhances the effectiveness of vitamins C and E and can be taken together with these vitamins for added benefit.  Pycnogenol® Medical is composed of water-soluble molecules. The flavonoid molecules have up to twelve condensed subunits. Pycnogenol® Medical is standardized to contain 70% procyanidins in accordance to United States Pharmacopoeia requirements. The unique nutrient mixture supplied by Pycnogenol® Medical helps maintain a healthy capillary system in several ways. It protects vitamin C which is necessary for the production of collagen. Pycnogenol® Medical can also naturally stimulate production of nitric oxide in blood vessels which is vital for supporting normal arterial health. Furthermore, Pycnogenol®-Medical binds to collagen fibers, protecting them from attack by free radicals so that the natural elasticity of collagen in skin, joints, arteries, capillaries and other tissues is maintained.**

Recent research indicates that Pycnogenol®-Medical may play important roles in lung health, normal glucose metabolism and cardiovascular health. Additional research shows that Pycnogenol® Medical may play valuable roles in maintaining normal joint mobility, neurological and mental functioning and healthy gums.**
